The 16' French River and 18' Georgian Bay Sport Runabouts are reminiscent of cedar strip runabouts built in an earlier era, combine handcrafted workmanship with modern day boatbuilding materials to produce beautifully finished craft. Because each hull is coated with durable West System™ Epoxy and fibreglass, minimal maintenance is required to keep the hull dry and looking new. Our 16' and 18' Sport Runabouts are designed with semi-planing displacement hulls requiring lower horse power to reach maximum hull speeds thereby running more economically and efficiently.

The 16' French River Sport Runabout is an ideal craft for small and medium sized lakes while the larger 18' Georgian Bay Sport Runabout is deeper with ample walk-around interior space which is perfect for carrying larger loads and cruising on bigger lakes.
While the base hulls are standard, each model is custom- built to your specifications such as seating and decking arrangements. The result is a boat that is built and designed specifically for your needs while maintaining safety, performance and durability.
Standard features include decking, a protective keel and brass stem band, floor boards, a convenient glove box, cleats, fairleads, steering, electrical bilge pump and full navigational lighting.

The Georgian Bay Double Ender Rowing Skiff is a graceful rowing craft, combining traditional design with contemporary boat building methods. In fiberglass and wood, they are easy to maintain and are a pleasure to row. Two rowing positions allow for two people to row or to compensate for various loads. Specifications: Length 16’; Beam 45”; Depth 18”; Weight 130 lbs. Capacity 800 lbs. (Item A4).
The Georgian Bay Wherry is similar in style and construction as the ‘Double Ender’ but includes in it’s design a classic ‘wine-glass’ shaped transom typical of a traditional Wherry Skiff design with the added feature of being capable of handling a small electric or gasoline motor. Specifications: Length 14’; Beam 50”; Depth 17”; Weight 130 lbs Capacity 750 lbs. (Item A4a). Please note a 16’ version is also available (Item A4b).
Construction and Standard Features: The hulls are built using western red cedar planking, reinforced with countless oak ribbing and selected local hardwoods for the trim. Durability and water tight construction have been achieved with epoxy resin and fiberglass with multiple finishing coats of marine spar UV resistant varnish. Classic boat design, wood joinery and finishes combine for safety, beauty and lasting enjoyment. Standard features include: cross seating, removeable floorboards, decking, oak or ash full length keels and gunwales.
Available Options: A 5 position Foot Brace for rowing; Spoon/Curved or Straight Blade Oars in a variety of lengths (See Items B1-12); Bronze Oar Locks (See Items B11-22) & Sockets (See Items B14-20); Brass Inscribed Name Plate (See Item Q6).

The Shawnee Rowing and Sailing Tenders can be rowed, sailed or powered with a small electric or gasoline motor. The Shawnee is a terrific craft for the novice sailor, fisher or yachter who wants a stable and functional tender. Specifications: Length 12’; Beam 52”; Depth 18”; Weight 95 lbs; Capacity 650 lbs. Recommended Motor Rating up to 6 hp. (Item A5).
Construction and Standard Features: The hull is built using western red cedar planking, reinforced with oak ribbing and selected local hardwoods for the trim. Durability and water tight construction have been achieved with epoxy resin and fiberglass with multiple finishing coats of marine spar UV resistant varnish. Standard features include: cross seating, removeable floorboards, decking, oak or ash keels and gunwales. The Sailing version includes a “Lug Sail” design sailing rig that can easily be stowed in the boat.
